  • Understanding of design concepts and principles to assist in developing a functional, visually appealing
    product aesthetic
  • Experience in the biomedical field, preferably the field of transplantation
  • Exposure to research and experimental concepts and progression
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and implement basic statistical principles
  • Exposure to Agile development practices (Scrum, Lean, etc.)
  • Understanding of patent application processes and requirements
  • Understanding of broad technology trends and their practical applicability

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Product Manager is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the
    team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and
    technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.
  • This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with
    Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyzing and assessing stakeholder feedback to create explicitly defined, detailed product requirements
  • Assist engineering team in understanding and defining use and edge cases for products
  • Recognize patentable technologies/innovations and proactively propose to leadership for approval to
    initiate patent process
  • Perform demos of products to end users and potential customers
  • Monitoring the software development process and providing product consultation to team leaders and
    team members
  • In all actions, maintain and reinforce the focus of product development on the ethical creation of a
    reliable, innovative product that improves healthcare
  • Communicate with end users and stakeholders in a professional manner to update them on the product
    development process and receive feedback on product features
  • Define and track customer experience metrics to inform product design and align it with user needs
  • Onboarding and training new employees to familiarize them with the product, specific area of healthcare, and company culture
  • Verifying implementation of product requirements
  • Attend and schedule meetings with product development teams to coordinate efforts and maintain
  • Coordinate field testing of products and gather data from testing to inform further product development
    and refinement
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy and passing along proper approval channels
  • Research topics assigned by leadership and create a concise, detailed report documenting and
    interpreting the findings for final approval by supervisors

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in from an accredited college or university
  • Understanding and knowledge of product development and management concepts
  • Experience with conducting interviews from stakeholders and create conclusions and product
    specifications from abstract information
  • A track record of communication and collaboration with engineering and software development teams to
    translate product requirements into technical task items
  • Demonstrated application of project management concepts including resource and timeline management
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Public speaking
