The development team at War Horse Cities saw the opportunity to acquire Lighthouse Point Marina as a way to breathe life and excitement into the Charm City fixture that is the waterfront. Located in the heart of Canton, Lighthouse Point offered exciting opportunities at the quintessential location.
Approach
Overall, the four marinas in the area acquired in the purchase offer 800 slips for small boats and large yachts alike, and are located within steps of a variety of restaurant and retail options. The War Horse team acquired Lighthouse Point, as well as three surrounding marinas, in 2017.
Results
The acquisition of the Lighthouse Point Marina is demonstrative of our mission to enhance waterfront offerings to the people of Baltimore. It's the perfect place to dock, socialize and enjoy what downtown Baltimore has to offer.
